  • What did you do this past week?

I finished up the Darwin project. I was really rushed to finish it because I had to start late, but I still managed to finish it in time with (I think) full functionality.

  • What’s in your way?

I haven’t been feeling well for the past few days, so I hope I can recover from that and be able to work efficiently and start early on the project this time.

  • What will you do next week?

Next week I will start work on the newest project, work on an NLP project, and continue work for my other classes.

  • If you read it, what did you think of the More getters and setters?

I thought it was a really interesting read. It can be hard to wrap your head around, but once you get into the right mindset, it can really save you time in terms of future implementation, when you inevitably have to make changes. It also just leads to better design in general.

  • What was your experience of sequence containers, container adapters, and associative containers? (this question will vary, week to week)

I was pretty familiar with the different kinds of containers before, although it was nice to get a sense of their implementation in C++. One thing that was new was deques, so it was very informative to get more info on them.

  • What made you happy this week?

I got a new desktop, and all of the parts have just about arrived.

  • What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

If you’re looking for a good mechanical keyboard, I would recommend https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/. They have really good keyboards that so far have been great.
